You need to install Facepacks that have those players in it.

Download facepacks here in the downloads and follow the instructions from this link.

NHL View is the only roster editor.  NHL View doesn't change ices, jerseys or cyberfaces/facepacks.    For that you need to install the addons using the installer the addon comes with, the universal addon installer or NHL Toolbox Th AHL updates should be here and on wasserlassser.  If not. You are SOL.

You need to download those updates yourself.

Facebook is where you get the links to the addons.  You can replace it onto of the the older version.s 

I just use the downloads that are at wasserlasser. 

What do you mean by janky?

If you have the Philips Arena.  You need to install a MTS  Arena update.

That might be the problem.   There should be no other folders in the my documents/nhl09 folder other than the 2 exhibition files, users file and any other file that came with the folder.  

Did you move the folder or the files?

When you unzip the files.  Do they all go in the main game folder and not a folder inside the main game folder?

You said that you are playing on a laptop. The game doesn't support laptops.  

If you did indeed install the rosters correctly.  Make sure hardware acceleration and anti-aliasing is off.  

tinpanalley:  Yes.  The teams are scattered. 

lenordique: The Full Screen Optimization is in the same spot as the compatibility option after you right click on nh09.exe and select preperties.

It needs to be set to work.  Try what I said to the other guy and see if it works.  

What is your windows compatibility set to?

So before it goes to the loading the game screen?

When you go to play a game or when you just launch the game?

Faces and facepacks were not part of either one.

You can get updates for those at wasserlasser's site.

lenordique:  Make sure you set the compatibility to Vista SP2 and disable Full Screen optimizations 

tinpanalley:  The menu file has the logos.  The arenas file have the ice.  There are other files that are in different files.  The referees are now in the Arena files as well.

Do you have UAC turned off.  If not.  Turn it off.  Restart your computer.   Run BHImport again.  See if it works.  If not.  Backup both your main game folder and your my documents\nhl 09 folder.  

Until the game.  Delete both NHL 09 folders. Restart your computer. Install the game and then reinstall the addons. See if that works.    

Did you put BHImport and the other none exhibition files in the main game folder?

Did you run BHImport afterwards?

I am not on my computer so I can't download the files.  

Download the Menu file one and compare them with the files 2 to 5 in the March release.   

But what about the files inside those files.  Renaming the compressed file means nothing.  

Is there are file in the March one that is not in the latest one?   Example.   The roster one.  March has DB.bh and the latest doesn't.  

What files are missing?

What do you mean different names?

Where did you put the 2 db files?
