Haha, yeah. Now even the guy at Wasserlasser, who can't "make" a facepack if the background isn't removed already (thanks Yahoo, ESPN, FOXSports, etc.), can solve the 'complex' task of removing the backgrounds and maybe create all NHL teams, even if it's a "huge task for one person to undertake" - yeah, resizing the photos from Yahoo etc. is a difficult task. I'll say this though - it is a rather boring and repetitive task, surely. -

You need to remove the white pixels around the head and jersey. Here's an example of the same photo using https://www.remove.bg/ -
Sounds great :) I'm trying to create the masks of some of the 3rd goalies. It's a great way to practice different Photoshop lessons. Any advice is appreciated.

That means the NLA project is complete, right? We never finished the Liiga project, though I will admit it's a huge task, I'm still ready to help out with research if need be :)

Thanks! Tried to load the mask .png file - got an error. Just opened and saved with MSPaint to .bmp format. The program complains about geomdata.ini missing and notices it isn't important. Any idea what it's for?

Tried making a mask quickly, just for the sake of the challenge :) IIHF 2019 D1B - Patrik Polc (Romania) mask still needs a lot of work and haven't tested it in the 'mask preview' program (forgot the name). Used the template from zidane110 (thanks).

Both Rainer (stlouis26) and I have sent goalie photos to Spidey. He's been kind enough to share Murray and Genoni with me as well. Not sure he wants us to share them, so let's keep it that way for now. I have also asked him to showcase the masks (+gear?) here at Splinterice. I can't say for sure, but I think he's working on the masks of the teams participating in the semi-finals. The last mask photos he requested and I sent to him were of Georgiev/Sorokin (same mask design) and a better view of the tiger on Treutle's mask. Do you have any more coach cybers planned? I'm working on Ehlers (DEN), Beddeos (ITA), Bozon (FRA). Also, tried fitting Söderholm (GER) onto his EA texture (4699) before the new photos were released, not sure if we'll need a different .ebo/editing.

Good start and good .ebo choices for many of the cybers. One piece of advice is to untick the light option in Neboviewer (see example)
